Participate in the Grand Splash of Sainte-Martine on July 9th.

The Châteauguay River crosses several municipalities in the Montérégie and represents an important pillar of local biodiversity. The objective of this festive and free event is to put citizens in direct contact with the river in order to raise awareness of the important role of wetlands and waterways in the quality of the environment on the territory. It is important to promote the various recreational and tourist activities and to reappropriate the spaces along the territory’s waterways.

As part of the Grand Splash week, the SCABRIC VBO invites you to come and enjoy the beautiful Chateauguay River with free watercraft rentals (canoes and kayaks) between 10:00 and 12:00. In case of bad weather, the activity will be postponed to a later date which will be communicated by email to the participants.

We also invite you to bring your flotation jacket. In case you do not have one, there will be life jackets available at the event.

Hurry and reserve your spot, there are only 30 tickets available for this event. Registration is mandatory.
