GRAND SPLASH SAINT-PAUL-DE-L’ÎLE-AUX-NOIX 2021

4 July 2021 @ 15h00 - 16h00

Tourisme Haut-Richelieu wishes, thanks to many projects, to make the Richelieu river more accessible to the citizens and the visitors of the region. Among these projects, the Grand Splash represents for us an excellent opportunity to assert the importance of developing public access to our river and to ensure the quality of its water. The event is held in collaboration with the Centre de plein air l’Estacade, which has the only swimming area among the thirty kilometers of the Richelieu River in the Haut-Richelieu (from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu to Lacolle). Get ready to SPLASH!

SALOMÉ CORBO
Honorary President of the Grand Splash 2021

Salomé Corbo is a familiar face on Quebec television, from her character Caroline in Unité 9 to Deli Bacon in Ayoye, a role for which she was nominated for a Gémeaux award in the category of “Best Performance, Leading Role, Youth Program or Series”. She can be seen in the Télé-Québec series Les Mutants, whose second season is currently being filmed. She is also a master of theatrical improvisation. Her participation in the Ligue nationale d’improvisation has earned her several distinctions, including “best use of the French language” and “best counter-actress”. In September 2014, Salomé agreed to adopt the Rivière-du-Nord and become its godmother along with singer Paul Piché, himself a godfather of the river. Both contributed to the success of a benefit dinner for the Rivières Foundation, in the presence of the then mayor of Saint-Jérôme.She produced a superb video as part of the virtual event Petit splash deviendra grand that replaced the Grand Splash last summer, for reasons we know too well. Salomé has enthusiastically accepted to become our first honorary president for this first edition of the Semaine du Grand Splash.#Grandsplash2021
