THE FIRST JUMP IN 1994
The first jump was held in 1994 in Quebec City in the Bassin Louise. In 2003, the first jump was held in the metropolitan area at the Old Port of Montreal and since then, the growing popularity of this event shows the interest of Montrealers to have access to the river downtown.
THE GRAND SPLASH WEEK
In 2020 with the pandemic, the "Petit Splash deviendra Grand" contest highlighted several places where the population also requires access to waterways in Quebec, hence the creation of the Grand Splash Week.
